Digital Search

Not sure if this has been asked or not but in Sentinel what is Digital Search for ? is this fir DMR and NXDN ?

If set, the scanner will play any kind of digital traffic on the frequency, but will ignore any analog transmissions.

Ok thank you, so for NXDN frequencies what should be the setting ? search or something else ?

If you know the RAN, set it. Otherwise leave it on digital search and it will play any NXDN traffic on the frequency.

Is this in the 536 series? I don't recall ever seeing it. It looks like a handy feature.

I have the 436 not sure about the 536, but if you go to Sentinel on the right had side in the area where you have your dept, frequency, amd search click on that should bring up a screen that says analog or digital click digital that will give you another screen that will say digital search, DMR, NXDN etc.
