Hi folks... I've never used Sentinel with DMR stuff before and I'm quite confused. I'm trying to build a favorites list for my soon to arrive SDS100 and I'm importing some local FD frequencies. They are DMR and they use both timeslots (sometimes the same talkgroup, sometimes different... depending on department). My problem is that when I import from the database I just get the frequency twice, with no options for timeslot or talkgroup (like I can select when using my WS-1088 & EZScan). From what I gather the info needs to be entered as a 1 Frequency Trunk system, but I don't see any way to change this or create from scratch in Sentinel... What am I missing?

Example systems - The countywide fire entries listed here:

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=4289
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=4301

Any pointers greatly appreciated!

Edit... Ok, so I've figured out how to create a new system in the Fav List editor... but is there no way to change imported system types?

You'll need to manually program these as DMR One Frequency Trunked. RRDB has them (IMO) set as conventional channels, when they are really trunked.

I would suggest you take a look at ProScan. It can convert these entries to OFT systems during import.

Wish Uniden would incorporate the same functionality into Sentinel.
