I notice the Pro96Com has a new update the x36hp is not listed. I see Whistler is listed with the new radios. Has anyone tried to hook up Pro96Com to the x36hp?

Sentinel is the only software that offers full configuration functionality for the x36 scanners. The closest thing is ProScan, which has an excellent favorite list editor that has some features not found in Sentinel, but cannot edit scanner profiles.
Uhh, Pro96Com is control channel decoding software, has nothing to do with what you're talking about.
Pro96Com is a control channel analyzer program, not programming software.
Read this thread from 2014. Not possible with the x36HP series.

Yep. A flag ship scanner with no control channel output, or any type of IF output that can be used. The advanced analysis features would have given the information on trunked systems. There is no way to see the frequency of a trunked transmission on the radio itself. Some additional software will display it. But, not real handy for a portable. The frequency information is included in the recording header in hex though. Too bad Uniden does not have a display like Whistler for their recordings.
The x36 scanners have clearly labeled discriminator tap pads on the circuit boards, just like other Uniden scanners.
