Is it OK to leave the USB cable that connects the computer to the scanner connected all the time?

It's better to plug the cable in and leave it, as opposed to constant plugging and unplugging. Every connector has a finite number of plug/unplug cycles before it fails.

Thank you. I was afraid having the cable always connected may, over time, cause damage to the scanner.
