This is what fixed it for the OP in the thread you were referred to. Use Edge or IE when clicking the link as Microsoft disabled Chrome(and maybe other browsers) on Microsoft links. Also Sentinel uses dot net framework 2.0
The path "Documents and Settings" has changed in later Win. versions. Go to "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Uniden"
I would delete the folders starting with "BCDx36HP_Sentinel.exe_Url" Inside the folder is "user.config" file. Restart Sentinel and the folder and the user.config file should recreate.
