Uniden BC365CRS Batteries

Just bought this unit & getting familiar with it.
There's a note on the battery compartment lid that says, batteries are for backup use only.
I've installed NiMH batteries & now I'm wondering if they get charged through the AC Adaptor like the ones in my BC92XLT.

I doubt it. I would probably just use alkalines. Unless there is a switch someplace that allows you to select rechargeable batteries, then assume there is no recharging.

From your BC345CRS owner's manual, page 17

You can use either​

alkaline or rechargeable batteries, but the​

scanner will not recharge batteries in the​

compartment.
