BCD536HP Access Point Device Question

I ask this out of curiosity only. Will any USB access point (3rd party) and I use the term "Any" loosely work with the 536 or is there something special about the 536 USB access point?

You need to use the Uniden USB dongle.. But it will connect to pretty much any WiFi device.

If I remember correctly, there was a lot of "tweaking" (as in many months of work) they had to do with the dongle to cause it to work. So probably nothing you'd call generic.
