I must say that I am overly impressed with the SDS 100 and Ham Radio Outlet. I ordered the unit on Friday and received it today (Monday) via priority mail with free shipping. The radio is awesome. I have a HP2 hooked up to a Yagi and the SDS 100 was picking up everything and more with the stock antenna! I live in a poor reception area being halfway up a mountain and blocked by other mountains. There certainly is going to be a learning curve with the unit with all the options it offers but I am looking forward to exploring them. As mentioned in other posts it does get a bit warm. But at this point, I am pleased with the unit and I whole hardheartedly recommend HRO. BTW, the have the unit in stock.
