SDS100/SDS200: Mini connectors

Could someone give an explanation of the purpose/use of the two mini connector ports on the SDS 100. I know and use the lower one for charging, but just what is the upper one for? Can’t seem to find any info on it. Many thanks for the response in advance.

The lower one is used for the Uniden GPS Puck.
