SDS100/SDS200: SDS 100 will not power off

My SDS 100 will not turn off unless I take out the battery, then when I put the battery back in, the SDS100 will turn back on when I put the battery back in, and then again will not turn off.

Any hidden menu setting anyone can think of that would account for this? My keypad works, I can use every other button except the power button. It also does not work to temporarily dim/power off the screen.

Have you tried the Auto Shutoff feature, found in the Settings part of the menu? Be interesting to see if it shuts itself off that way.

I did, not sure of the OP but yes it shut off after set time, but would not power back on.
Took out battery and it powered itself back up when reinstalled.

In the manual, I can not find an explanation of the AUTO SHUTOFF procedure?

In the scanner menu under settings I find the AUTO SHUTOFF command.

Maybe I'm looking at a predated menu Version 2 (printed 2018). ??
