How do I set up the scanner to where I have multiple systems, but at my discretion have the scanner to scan one system only without locking out the other systems?

I've tried setting up a quick key and when I try to activate it, the scanner scans all the other programmed systems. I tried the startup key and it will start there but begin scanning the other systems?

I'm baffled... Is this possible?

You need to assign quick keys to everything, and only enable the quick keys for the sites/systems you want to hear.

Or press and hold the HOLD key until it beeps and and HOLD is flashing in the display. This will limit the scan to just the system you are listening to. Repeat to unhold!

UPMan - thanks, I got my quick keys going and working and now understand more about them.

Thanks for that very neat trick - it works and really comes in handy when you need to do a really quick system hold to keep up with radio comms.
