I was wondering if anyone knows why all the fd frequencies in washington and surounding areas just give me static on my scanner.

Methinks it is an operator-issue, as-in wrong freqs, wrong mode, no/improper antenna connection.

Re-check everything on both radios to make sure you're just not making a mistake, and if the problem continues, I can meet up with you somewhere to try to help diagnose the problem(s).
I checked the freqencies and mode. As far as I can tell they are right. So I don't know. If you want to check it out you can. give me a call (801)854-2566
