Halifax Military Search And Rescue is on 8.992 USB MHZ, Halifax Military talking to Rescue 308 in the Bay Of Fundy, they are picking up a distress signal and try to find out if it's coming from the Canadian Side or the U.S Side of the border. they will be using 6.715 USB MHZ for there secondary frequency, signal is loud and clear on all conversations.

Hi N1RGR, I have 5.717 mhz as CANFORCE PRIMARY HF SEARCH & RESCUE
I'm listening now and am getting Trenton clear but weak and just picking up Rescue 308 very weak but can understand there transmissions. 02:25 UTC

I was getting both stations loud and clear from my location. At one point it sounded like someone was jamming the freq during the phone patch attempt. Rescue 308 was given instructions to stand down and return to base from their command.

Yea I caught some of the transmissions but at this time at night I am getting 3 1/2 to 4 DB'S of background hiss in the 5 meg's band and was having some trouble hearing them. I think rescue 308 said has would be back at base in around 20 minutes.
