Finally found a crystal to fit my R499A - the only one in the junk box comes out on 8825 which of course is NAT "E" - good signals from NY early in the evening say 0500z but now at 0745ish there's a load of definitely non aero drunks singing and chatting on the frequency! Language I don't recognise, thought at first it was the Immam calling the faithful to prayer but now think it may be Korean. I'll keep on listening and see if I can get a recording
