Why the echo on this frequency ,behind some transmissions ? Is it from multiple transmitters ,different sites ?

where are the base transmit sites for 11.175 Mhz ? How much power ,type radios & antennas used ?

also are the random letters / numbers code ? I'm guessing it is.

Any other frequencies used beside 11.175 ?

Yes the echo is caused by all the different transmitters, transmitting the same messages, but just slightly delayed from one another

As to the numbers/letters - well if it's preceded by 'Skyking Skyking do not answer', these are for the various sites with certain kinds of weapons (chuckle)...read this article - it's a bit dated to be sure, but it's well written

EAM

And as to other frequencies...the sites listed here are dated (Puerto Rico was closed some time ago) but the freqs are still quite accurate
