USB/UHF simulcast

This may or may not be old news here,
I was listenning to a list of UHF freq's for mil action.
I then caught on 323.800,
lingo like 11.175 USB..
10 minutes later,
I hear the same lingo on 13.155-USB, 11.245-USB, and 311.000 AM on a simulcast.
Is that customary?
3 freqs at once?

Yes. Customary. Simulcast depending on the intended recipients (whom you'll never know).
