Default WWV on 25 Mhz and a FCC proposal

Both from SWLing.com - the first is WWV is seeking reception reports on their 25 Mhz outlet; the other is a FCC public notice for comments for using the HF Maritime bands by first responders and emergency comms during disasters...

This is good to know. A couple of years ago when they were testing I was receiving them on all my scanners with just HH antennas. The last couple of months of have been hearing them several times a week on my SW radio's and scanner's also. Time of year and location will effect everyone's ability to hear them of course. From my location in the middle of Iowa I pretty much hear them all the time. Mike
