Amateur Radio Field Days
Amateur Radio Relay League Field Day is the most popular on-the-air radio event held annually in North America. On the fourth full weekend in June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs to operate from remote location as an exercise in emergency communications.
Come visit the Central Vermont Amateur Radio Club at the Barre Recreation Complex behind the Barre Town Middle & Elementary School at 70 Websterville Road. We'll demonstrate how we use radio to talk across the continent, teach you about amateur "ham" radio, demonstrate radio communications through satellites in orbit, and much more! Free admission. All are welcome.
