After looking at Dave's blog post about a new Fed TRS active in the NoVa area; I programmed it into my PSR-500 and ran Pro96Com on it from my location.

Sys ID - 00A
WACN - 0000A
Tower - 101

Main CC - 170.46250
Alt CC - 171.17500
Alt CC - 172.35000
Alt CC - 173.51250

Blog post URL - DC Scanning: New VHF Federal Trunked System

Dave,

I am thinking that I get a little bit better of reception here in Dumfries than you do in Fredericksburg.

Seems I'm just barely able to receive it in Loudoun. For a while it showed a signal but no sysid. Now it is and I saw TG 10, encrypted.

I have been monitoring this system off and on for about 10 days, All the comms I have seen have always been encrypted. I have had no luck so far identifying who uses this system. Below is just some of the recent activity today.

Not picking it up here in Fairfax City using a roof antenna that's not too high in the air (approx 50'). I don't think it's originating in Fairfax County which is where it's being listed as in the database.

Yes, I'm not sure that it originates in Fairfax County either. I believe I got a fairly strong signal on the control channel when I was driving up 95 near Potomac Mills. So maybe it's coming from Prince William, or even Charles County, MD across the river.

FYI
Tried to run Unitrunker on 170.4625 but had no signal at all in Silver Spring with omni-directional in attic.

I see the system ID as 01F not 00A on my PSR-600. This (170.4625) P25 control channel is at the USCG comm facility tower on Telegraph Rd. (Same tower also has a separate functioning IWINS P25 trunk system.) I did not get a WACN but will use a different setup to take another look.

That's very interesting information dlwtrunked. Looking at the packets on that control channel I see the following

02/05 11:24:46 Multi-Block Network Status Broadcast 1 - SysID: 00A Follow: 1

02/05 11:24:46 Multi-Block Network Status Broadcast 2 - WACN: 0000A Control tx: 0-0677(170.46250) Control rx: 0-0077(162.96250) Cap: Data,Voice,Registration

I looked through all my logs and never saw 01f it was always 00A.
Some other packets that looked interesting

02/05 11:24:46 TDMA Sync Broadcast - *Invalid* 2000/00/00 00:01 (6108)

This looks to me like the date and time of the system has yet to be configured, which seems odd for the amount of money they probably spent on it unless this is just in the testing phase and not in full production mode.

02/05 11:24:46 Phase 2 TDMA Identifier Update - ID: 08 Base: 162.00000 Spacing: 0.01250 Bandwidth: 0.01250 TX Offset: -0.00000 Slots: 2

The above seems to be an indicator that this is a P25 phase II TDMA system. Can anyone with more experience looking at P25 phase II TDMA packets confirm what this indicates please?

This is comparable to both the Fairfax Co and Loudoun Co systems. And only Loudoun is actually Phase II.

I can confirm that this system is indeed Aerospace Data Facility East at the west edge of Fort Belvoir. It has been submitted to DB.
