Tonight, I stumbled into radio traffic that appears to be the film company for 'Homeland'
The first location heard was from Byrd Park and scratchy
464.500 [d627] - heard smoke, cameras, action
469.550 [d532] - sounded like crane signaling, but could be associated with the show (also heard DCS of 023 and 565 on this freq)
At Laurel athletic field, they may have been filming something involving a train. I first became aware of them when the production wrapped for the week, and then head all sorts of talk about fashion issues with guns and holsters
462.8125 [d627] - busiest freq (transportation?)
464.5125 [d115] - sounded like electrical
469.5125 - loading what sounds like camera & lighting equipment
462.7625 - can't tell for sure
462.7875 [d021] - this appears to be ch-2 for someone, possibly the folks on 462.7625
462.8375 - fashion vs. firearms - this has to be props
I don't have codes for all these (my radios aren't reading them) but am pretty sure that at least 462.7625 has a DPL code that I'm just not getting.
All these are low-power freqs for Motorola Radius, Kenwood RM-series, BF888, etc. that I just keep in the radio. I also searched UHF while at Laurel, but only these freqs came up.
Happy Hunting!
