Virginia State Police talkgroups????

Greetings!

I notice that there are no frequencies/talkgroups listed for Virginia State Police for the town of Norththumberland. I would like to program my Uniden 396xt for the State Police in that area but if not listed I am out of luck. Am I missing something obvious?

Correct. State Police channels are divided up by their Divisions. Northumberland County is in Division 1, which is Richmond. You would want those talk groups on the STARS system. I Northumberland would be on "Richmond 2". You will hear the other counties on that channel, as well.
