It is from the "DSDplus fast lane" they send it to you, once you donate to the project

You will find the following info from your DSDPlus.txt:
Quote:
DSD+ Fast Lane
--------------

Early access to features is being offered through the DSD+ Fast Lane program.

Fast Lane updates are expected to be released every 7 to 30 days.

Some Fast Lane updates WILL have issues/bugs. That is the nature of alpha software.

These are a few of the features that are being worked on:

better tablet support

IDAS/NEXEDGE/Cap+/Con+/TIII trunk voice following

per-call audio recordings

other needed DSD+ upgrades

FMP upgrades

squelch

drift tracking

selectable sampling rates

adjustable windows sizes

TCP client/server mode (eliminates VAC / VB-C)

multiple VFOs

Airspy support

Fully tested public releases will continue, but less frequently,
probably every 4 to 6 months.

In light of the extra workload the Fast Lane program will create,
the DSD+ team is asking Fast Laners for:

US$10 for one year of Fast Lane updates

US$25 for unlimited Fast Lane updates

Donations above these amounts are welcomed, but it's up to you.
We're not looking to get rich here. Funds will be used for things like
needed hardware upgrades.

Funds can be sent our Paypal account (dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com)

Please include a comment that specifies the email address that
your Fast Lane updates should be sent to.

Just sent in my first year thanks to ak4fn's post. I wish this info were in a sticky topic to make it easier (than RTFM) for people to join the program. ;-)

I did it by logging into my Paypal account and initiating a "friends/family" payment. The form will then allow you to input an e-mail address, dollar amount and comment.

I should note I've not received a download link yet but I only sent in the funds a little over 4 hours ago. I have no reason to believe I did anything incorrectly, just assuming there's a day or two delay between donation and link send. Have to leave SOME time to develop the software. ;-)

Delay is 1 to 24 hours.

Isn't that what the Mountain Dew is for? </stereotype>

Back when I used to code I'd find myself staying up all night working on the code so I guess I just assumed all developers don't sleep. ;-)

Did You activate the MasterCard first, before trying to pay with PayPal?

I have never had to add money to PayPal, I just entered the info for my Master Card, and they took what was needed, to pay for what I bought.

Yes, and Mastercard showed the balance. What did happen when I went to add funds to the paypal account was it asked for a three digit CVV number which I figure is the three numbers on the back but it wouldn't take them?

It's to the right of where you sign your name, in a black box. 3 digits

The black box asks for my three digit CVV number and then below that it say if your card has a CSC code enter it here. My card has a three digit code which I need to verify it with MC, which I am going to assume is the same code, so when I add it Paypal say "sorry we can't link this card" and my frustration level has just reached it's peak, I have to go do something else.
