How to control FMP automatically ?

How DSD+ can control FMP automatically tune to a voice channel ?
I want to make an app that also can control FMP.
Is there any documentation I can read about that ?

Do you have DSD+ Fastlane? Because that version already has the trunk tracking features you appear to the looking for.

DSD+ writes files that FMP looks for. Watch the folder while monitoring a trunked system and you will see it operate.

When FMP is in voice following mode, it looks for the .traffic files that DSD+ creates. The frequency information is contained in the file name.
