Setting up Unitrunker with the RTL-SRD radios on the San Antonio EDACS system and it's working great.

While setting up and monitoring Gold Simulcast, I found a Target ID/Talkgroup (1029, 08-005) which is carrying the same traffic from the 1046, 08-026 talkgroup (Bexar County SO Central Open). My BCD436HP is receiving the 1046, 08-026 properly but this Target ID does not display on Unitrunker at all.
Update: I found a 1046 on the call history as a "Joins" but never as a "Call".

Update: now the 1025 Target ID has the 1046 traffic and the 1029 Target ID isn't displaying anymore. Not sure what is going on here.

Also found Target ID/Talkgroup 772, 06-004 which is the same traffic as 625, 04-141 (San Antonio Fire/EMS District-1 Access). Again, the BCD436HP is correctly showing the talkgroup and Unitrunker does not show the 625 Target ID, only the 772 Target ID.
Update: the 625 Target ID showed as a "Joins" once and never as a "Call".

Is this a known issue with Unitrunker (target ID errors)?

Hi Rob.

To me, it sounds like the various talkgroups you mentioned might be patched together.

In the "Service" column of the Calls screen, do you see XP listed?
XP means cross-patch.

Also, in the lower section, if you turn off everything (Joins, Group, User, Data, etc.) and only show Patches, does that show the TGs in question?

Finally, which version of Unitrunker are you running?

Regards,
Josh

The Svc column shows "Dig" and the action column shows "Call" on the incorrect Target/Talk Groups. When the correct Target/Talk Group is displayed (which is very rare), the Svc column is blank and the action column shows "Joins".

When only the Patches box is checked, I do not see any of the problem Target/Talk Groups.

Unitrunker version is 1.0.32.7

I also did the Blue Simulcast site yesterday and did not see any similar issues. However this one only has about 100 groups and 1200 users. The Gold Simulcast site has about 500 groups and 4400 users.

A couple of additional notes:

1) The 1046 traffic that was heard on the 1025 target is now being heard on the 1541 target.

2) Bexar County Fire Alarm Dispatch traffic that is supposed to be on Target 1345, 10-081 is being heard instead on 1027, 08-003. 1345 does not show up on the Call history. 10-081 is working correctly on the BCD436HP.

Now the 1046 traffic is being heard on Target, Talkgroup 522, 04-012, 1541 and 1025 are not showing up on Unitrunker anymore. Target/Talkgroup is still working correctly on the BCD436HP as 1046, 08-026. 1046 does not show up on Unitrunker. Both the 436 and Unitrunker are monitoring the same Gold simulcast site.

It's definitely some issue with Unitrunker.

I had originally set the label for 1047, 08-027 (Bexar County SO Info/Records) and it's been correct the whole time until tonight.

The Call history started showing 1804, 14-014 with no Target label (blank). However the Channels window was displaying the 1804 with "Bexar County SO Info/Records" under Audience. Sure enough, set the BCD436HP to 08-027 and it was the same traffic.

Also, not sure if related, the 1046, 08-026 target, it's now displaying correctly with the correct label on both the Call history and Channels display.

Today, Target 1045 (Bexar Co SO Central dispatch) was now displaying as 783 on Unitrunker. The 1045 Target label was displaying under 783 on the Channels window but blank on the History window (as 783 has not been edited yet). Verified on the BCD436HP that the traffic was indeed Bexar Co SO Central Dispatch. Entered in the talkgroup for 783 (06-017) in the 436 and did not receive any traffic.

Loaded Unitrunker on a different PC and it was also displaying Target 783, no 1045 at all (even when there was traffic on 1045 (08-025) using the 436.

Where are you polling from?

Have you tried Hill Country Village, or American or Topperwein towers and seeing if you get the same results?

Also what is your decode rate at? And is the drift adjusted for on your SDR?

Also keep in mind System 1434 COSA, is for all sites, ANY TGID can appear on Blue or Gold or any of the five simulcast sites. For instance anytime a SAPD officer hits his Emerg button it opens the TG across blue and gold and forces Analog until the alert has been acknowledged by the dispatcher and cleared.
