DSDPlus 2.84 was released this morning. It now incorporates conventional channels into the systems folder so you can save and record radio IDs and TG IDs for conventional channels. Along with a couple of other updates. Check the Notes file for all changes. Unfortunately no phase 2 yet again : (

I like the data file error checking. It found five entries that had missing or bad formatting. It notifies you by line, so what I found works well is opening the file in Word with "line numbering" activated. Word counts lines slightly differently, so there is an offset of a couple of lines.

It took a little while to get used to, but it's helpful, especially if you have large frequency, groups, radio, or network files.

Another option is to use Notepad. You must first click on the Format tab and uncheck word wrap. Then under the Edit tab open "Go to" and enter the line number that DSD+ has reported an issue with.

I was unclear on exactly what I did. I opened a copy on my desktop using Word. I had the original on my SDR/DSD laptop open in Wordpad. I found the errors on the Word copy and made the corrections on the Wordpad copy on the laptop.

I go back to the DOS days and learned a long time ago to only use a flat text editor for .bat, .txt, or .exe files. The frequencies file is a text file.

I'm sorry I scared you. :D

Thanks for the tip about the status bar, but it's easier to read the thing on the 22" display on my desktop.

OMG, no. Just use Notepad - it has a status bar that displays the current line number.

Note

If this release rolls out like the last one did.. It could take a week for everyone to see it in their inbox..

I had to wait about 4 days until i got the email
Is there GPS decoding support for FUSION and DSTAR ?

1 thing that would be nice is the ability to change the colours of specific talkgroups or radios to make it a little more easy at a quick glace to see specific tagged groups.

Say BLUE for law, RED for fire, WHITE for medical and so on and on :)

How can I create one .bat file that runs 2 instances of FMP24 and 2 instances of DSD+ all in the 1 file? Here's what I have now, but it only opens one instance of FMP24 and nothing else. But then each time I press Esc, it closes the current instance and opens the next one.

FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -f773.9825 -wsl0.-1 -g40.2 >FMP24-CC.log -b-9.5

FMP24 -rv -i2 -o20002 -wsl0.-1 -g40.2 >FMP24-VC.log -b-9.5

DSDPlus -rc -i20001 -v2 >CC.log -wsl2.1 -wss87.300 -wel2.1 -wes693.1022 -wch20 -wcl4.1 -wch20 -T

DSDPlus -rv -i20002 -v2 >VC.log -wsl2.1 -wss87.300 -wel2.1 -wes693.1022 -wch20 -wcl4.1 -wch20 -T

Put START before each line you want to run. I.E. "START FMP24,,,". Also, it may not matter, but typically its run in this order:

FMP (control)
DSD (control)
FMP (voice)
DSD (voice)
