You need to adjust your PPM setting to center the signal by the look of it.

With the FMP24 window focused press:

Quote:
p/P adjust PPM frequency correction
The value is shown in title bar. When you find the correct value to center the signal, use it in the FMP24 batch file (.bat)

Quote:
-P<num> PPM value (-999.9-999.9) [-P0.0]

Edit: You also need to have FMP24 connected to DSPlus via TCP not VC

Batch file should be something like this:

Quote:
FMP24 -rc -a0 -i1 -o20001 -P-1 -g29.7 -b-7.6 -f492
-rc for FMP24 as CC role
-a0 auto center tuning OFF
-i1 use 1st dongle
-o20001 use TCP port #
-P-1 is PPM
-g36.4 is Gain
-b-7.6 is channel bandwidth (locked)
-f492 is initial frequency
-_1 is minimize windows - console

Quote:
DSDPlus -rc -i20001
-rc for DSDPlus as CC role
-i20001 use TCP port #

As an example. 4 batch files as follows:

FMP24-CC.bat (for dongle #1)
Quote:
FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -P-1 -g29.7 -b-7.6 -f492
adjust -P to suit your PPM value
adjust -g to suit your desired gain (not to high)
adjust -f to suit your frequency in MHz

DSDPlus-CC.bat
Quote:
DSDPlus -rc -i20001

FMP24-VC.bat (for dongle #2)
Quote:
FMP24 -rv -i2 -o20002 -P47.5 -g29.7 -b-7.6
adjust -P to suit your PPM value
adjust -g to suit your desired gain (not to high)
adjust -f to suit your frequency in MHz

DSDPlus-VC.bat
Quote:
DSDPlus -rv -i20002

I did a test I went and make a new text doc. and changed it to .bat and copied what you posted put that in each .bat file(s) going to see what it does now

No that is OK, VC FMP24/DSDPlus are waiting for call.

You now need to define the record file .frequencies, .networks, .sites

I do have the freqs networks sites edited for a few weeks. I see one Cap+ system it shows the Ch 1-4 correct and it follows the Control Channel no problem seems like but there no audio since no one is on lol for now. I can do that tomorrow I know a TG is very active.

Excellent. Have fun with it.

Have a look through the manuals for options to fine tune your setup.

The information starts at DSDPlus v1p101 in the files "DSDPlust.txt" "FMP.txt" and "Trunking.txt"
Then look through "Notes.txt" that came with your last Fastlane zip. It will have all the changes of the changes to options from v1p101 to v2.98

Had another question how to save audio on voice calls?

if I put this in the DSDPlus-vc.bat
DSDPlus -rv -Pwav -i2 -o1 -v3 -wsl400.210 -wss100.200 -wel172.522 -wcl528.0 >>VC.log

will it screw up the files?

Add these options to the line in CC and VC DSDPlus batch files.

Quote:
-Och <file> Output audio file channel count and name/type [-O DSDPlus.wav]
ch: M=mono,S=stereo,blank=auto; file: .wav or .mp3 (NUL=none)
The default creates one big file (over time) This is best to turn it OFF with "-O NUL". Your choice.

Quote:
-P<wav|mp3> Also create per-call wav or mp3 files
- see 'Notes.txt' under DSD+ 2.5 New Features
Don't forget all this is in the text files I mentioned.

Question Question

I have a question guys. I have been following this thread. I am following a Con+ system with 6 channels. I do not have the FastLane version of DSD+ (Although I might by the end of day). Pretty sure I have all 4 .bat files running correctly. Everything looks to be flowing nicely, but the channel numbers are obviously not correct. I can hear traffic only on CH4. The DSD CC Channel Activity populates all 6 channels, but none of them appear to be correct. I am simultaniously monitoring all the channels with my scanner, and I hear the frequencies pop up as I see them talk on the system, but they are not correct in DSD+. I have entered the frequencies in DSDPlus.frequencies, according to the system on the FCC website using those channel numbers, but they are still incorrect. Funny thing is, CH4 works correctly everytime, no matter how I change the CH numbers in DSDPlus.frequencies. DSD Plus looks to be duplicating them, and not using the list I defined.

My DSDPlus.Frequencies file:

Con+, 176, 23, 3, 451.9125, 456.9125, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 0001, 452.2125, 457.2125, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 2, 453.0000, 468.0000, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 4, 464.8375, 469.8375, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 5, 464.4750, 469.4750, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 6, 452.7375, 457.7375, 0

I put in the CC & VC for the recording I get nothing on it. I've looked around under the notes 2.5 don't see much on it.

If you see Ch 1 & 2 3 & 4 they are using 2 time slots. 1 is for Control Channel the other is voice. You may want to get rid of 0001 put a 1 there. I have a power company uses Con+ and I don't get no voice and my CH shows ?

Con+, 176, 23, 6, 452.7375, 457.7375, 0

Read the docs.

Note:

DSD+ uses two channel numbers for each DMR RF channel:

Channel #1 = first RF channel, timeslot 1
Channel #2 = first RF channel, timeslot 2
Channel #3 = second RF channel, timeslot 1
Channel #4 = second RF channel, timeslot 2
Channel #5 = third RF channel, timeslot 1
Channel #6 = third RF channel, timeslot 2
...

For all DMR systems (DMR, Cap+, Con+, TIII), only one channel record has
to be added to the DSDPlus.frequencies file for each RF channel.
You can use the channel number that corresponds to timeslot 1 or 2 and
DSD+ will use the same frequency information for the other timeslot.

If you have six DMR RF channels, you have 12 timeslots, so your numbers should be larger. You can't cram 12 timeslots into numbers that only range from 1 to 6. Try using 1,3,5,7,9,11 instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6.

-i2 removes the ability for FMP24 to communicate with VC DSDPlus.
It means VC DSDPlus now is using whatever is on Input audio device #2

Experimentation is part of the hobby, Try combinations out and see what happens.

Are you hearing an voice?
Per call files are saved in folders (by date) under CC-Record or VC-Record from memory.

I did not see that you posted an image until I got a quote for this post. (Does anyone else see his image?)

That image shows your channel order would be:

Quote:
Con+, 176, 23, 1, 453.0000, 0.0, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 3, 464.8375, 0.0, 0
Con+, 176, 23, 5, 452.7375, 0.0, 0
But, are your TXfrequency, RXfrequency in the right order?
You don't need to specify RXfrequency. It's the TXfrequency (of the site) you what to listen too.

The frequencies in that network seem unusually spaced apart. approx +11MHz. Most of the ones I've seen are closer then that. Of course it doesn't mean it's wrong.

Have you defined that network in all the record files. .frequencies, .networks, .sites

Using padded channel # is OK. eg 1 padded as 0001. I do this to keep entries inline and easier to read.
