Hello.

Bg fan of SDR# and DSD+ FL supporter. Just dl'ded SDRSharper. Has anyone any experience using this piece of software?

Certainly looks good.


Any links to the latest version ???


I am using v0.6L.

About to plug in one of my trusty RTL SDR's for a play...

From what I've read, SDRSharper uses the same code at SDRSharp but was just reskinned. Dont't think you will find much difference, but it's worth a shot.

There has been speculation that SDR Sharper is illegal for the use of SDR# code. https://www.rtl-sdr.com/sdrsharper-modified-version-sdr/

With that said, the idea of SDR# isn't copyright protectable but the expression of the idea is copyright protectable. I am not so sure the copyright laws are understood. Many lawsuits brought into court have been granted summary judgement to dismissal. Some have not. Mostly individual bias (a developer misunderstanding their lawyer on a issue) on the opinion of copyright law are far from the truth. I read a few years ago much of the components of SDR# are derived from someone else's work. If Yousef sues then he may have a battle against himself.
