166.925 is booming in to my scanner with an 18 inch antenna on my desk in Strasburg,VA. They must have

finally replaced the gutter clip antenna is the Washington Monument steel rafters with a real antenna since I

am at least 70 air miles away. The monument is 555 feet and my home is 708 feet on the ground in my front

yard so the scanner is a little over 710 feet above sea level.

The USPP does not have a transmitter at the Washington Monument. It is at WRC-TV Nebraska AV 400 feet.

I am given to understand that testing on the new system will start next week. The frequencies are out there if you know where to look.

I tried searching the RRDB and one or two of those frequencies is listed as WV NRP and a frequency on Integrated Wireless Network (IWN) National Capital Region.
