Hi folks,
I attempted to search the forum without luck.
Never before I attempted to use the tone-out feature so I wonder where to find the Washington DC FEMS tone-out frequency to enter into my scanner.
Please, advise.

It has been years and years but I do not believe DC ever used a Tone-Out system.
The used to have a landline link from the dispatch center to each firehouse and would alert vocally and chime the house bell with that. Then the dispatcher would place the call over the air and wait for the response from the units. Units already on the street would be called and advised to standby for a call or dispatched directly.

I am sure it is all computerized now for alerting.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do IP wireline alerting to the stations. Calls are put out OTA with only a wake-up tone and no extra space for other tones.
