WS1040: WS1040 Scanning Issue

Just got this scanner. Worked fine for a few hours then it would stop on a analog freq while scanning and would scan each channel for about more 10 seconds. Does the same thing for a trunking P25 system also. Is there a setting I need to look at and change? I have turned off the delay for each channel as I thought that may be an issue also. So far no luck. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Tried the programming cable that come with it instead of the RadioShack programming cable I had and this may had been the issue. Factory reset the scanner and read/wrote using the Whistler cable so far so good. Will run it for a while to make sure the issue is resolved to be sure.
