Search for frequencies authorized for NXDN voice use with this search tool.

Look in each state's Weekly FCC Grants for new NXDN licenses.

or look in the database - we have some there, too, although not quite as comprehensive as the tool Aggie put together (message below)

I was emailed the links for the PC APP and the CPU update but not the DSP Update.

Where do you get the DSP Update from or do you simply use the PC App to download and install it?

I'm at work so don't have access to my TRX-2 yet but did download the two I was emailed about.

Thanks!

It's all done from within EZScan...then Check for updates...not sure why you would have been emailed a CPU update...scanner needs to be connected to the PC and then you run EZScan and let it check for what it needs...

I haven't completed all the wiki changes needed, but hopefully if my questions in the other thread are answered, I can do this tonight.

I don't have these scanners, so any corrections are welcome...Mike

The emails for the PC APP and CPU Update were just links to the actual downloads.

Thanks for the clarification about the PC App doing the DSP update.

I get emails from Whistler whenever there are any scanner related updates.
The update email for the 1080/1098 came through a few minutes later.

Gotcha. Yeah, as long as you have EZScan you are good to go...just do the updates one at a time in the order listed in the first post as that is their recommended order of operations.

Can someone confirm which flavors of NXDN are decoded with this latest upgrade please:
- NXDN4800 (6.25khz)?
- NXDN9600 (12.5khz)?
- Conventional only or trunked too?

TIA

Same problem here. And EZScan couldn't be upgraded, "couldn't write TRX-2.exe"

I uninstalled and installed file from whistlers website. After CPU upgrade the USB connection dropped.
Had to power off/on the scanner and then continue the upgrade.

The release note says:"The Mode column will accept a value of NXDN, NEXEDGE, IDAS, NXDN48, or NXDN96 as valid NXDN options."

But can't be right? I can only find one setting, NXDN, for conventional and NXDN(C) and (D) for trunked.

Error code conatact Whislter.

After update to new version TRX-2Install_3.0.0.480.exe and run all updates from new program today I got some problems.
When press Scan it scans fine. But When select menu and then select Scanlist for browse scanlist following error comes.

-Error Detected-
Please contact

I can confirm it works on a trunked NXDN4800 system locally. Can't confirm NXDN9600.
