TRX-1: Stuck on "up boot ver:F1.3" screen

All,

My scanner is stuck on a blank screen with "up boot ver:F1.3" displayed.

The TRX software won't recognize the scanner, I can't power the scanner on, and I cannot format the SD card. I have tried to format it while it is inserted into the scanner, and taking it out and inserting it into the computer. Windows won't format the card because its "write protected". TRX doesn't see the card in the scanner, and won't format the card just inserted into the computer. I have taken the batteries out for quite a while to no avail.

Any ideas? I did try to search for previous threads and nothing helped.
