All of my recordings are garbled and sound like double speed on playback. However, when I slow them down it doesn't sound right. Has anyone else had this issue or have a solution. I see no option for recording speed anywhere.

Are all the recordings from a single talkgroup or frequency? You might be hearing a simple form of encryption called signal inversion, I guess it can sound a lot like a recording at a different speed. What are you listening to?

I am recording a T-band frequency NFM as well as a 800 mHz P25. Both sound the same when listening to the recordings.

As you try to speed the recordings down I asume you play the files in windows?
How does it sound when you listen in the scanner and from the EZScan program and from Windows
using different players, mediaplayer, VLC, etc?
