Why does OPP sound very robotic and ems fuzzy

Why is my ez scan sound robotic like and ems is very fuzzy and statically. Is there a way to fix this annoying issue.

I'm in Petawawa and I just got my 1098 in my car today and compared to my old 396T the EMS has alot of static and the OPP sound OK but not as good as before.

This is I know. But comparing scanners to scanners they handle the analog signal way different than the other does.

Both sound fine to me on my TRX-1 and 2 here in Hamilton area, Not much OPP traffic except highways here mostly MOH EMS did not notice too big of a difference from my old scanner (996XT) to this in audio quality.
