If you are talking about an amateur radio repeater, I don't believe that it is possible to have the scanner scan certain talkgroups.

If you are talking about this system:

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=9602

In Ez Scan, assuming a new V-Scanner folder is being created:

1. File -> New Configuration - set your Band plan

2. Click on the Library Import tab

3. Select "Preferred" as the import type

4. On the left panel, scroll down and click on Virginia

5. At the top just to the right of the state list, double-click on 'Counties/Cities"

6. Select a county or city listed in the system above - Richmond (City) for example.

7. Double-click on Trunked Systems

8. Click on the box to the left of the DMRVA Amateur Radio Network system

9. Click the Sites button at the bottom.

10. Select only the county or counties near you.

11. Click the Import Channels Select button at the bottom.

12. I recommend including a Wildcard talkgroup in "Import Options"....

13. Assign a scanlist

14. Press the Import channels button.

15. Write the config to the radio.

Thanks, yea I saw that in the database, I wanted to add my local repeater which is WA1ZMS, which changed over to DMR. I updated the master db but apparently it's not listed. I guess I can add it to the Roanoke group.

You can easily add you site to the imported system.

If you have an additional (new) repeater/frequency, submit it to the database and then you (and others) will be able to download it on the next update.
