Hello All,

Yes, I have done my homework first and read as many threads as I could find with others having similar issues to mine. However, I just cannot find a solution.

I am going to try to give you as much information as possible:

I am monitoring several systems using the WS1040, specifically:
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=832 (CSP - P25)
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=409 (Greenwich - SmartZone II)
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=5503 (Stamford - P25)

I am getting normal signal values for all systems except for the last one, Stamford P25, which is within my hometown. Now I upgraded from a PRO-106 and did a clone over to the WS1040. I DID change the RSSI values to the new ones within the WS1040. When I monitor Stamford P25, I get full bars (as I should) momentarily and then the WS1040 drops the signal (and the S) and this process repeats itself - almost like a hiccup in the system. I come over to my PRO-197, with the same antenna and same location, and the PRO-197 picks up Stamford P25 just as it normally should.

So my question is: Why is my WS1040 hiccuping on this system, and everything else is being received just fine?
I have swapped 800MHz antennas (I have multiple), to no avail. I am beginning to believe I have a dud. PRO-106 did not do this, and neither is the PRO-197.

I appreciate all help I receive!

You are most likely encountering some minor simulcast distortion. The scanner occasionally gets confused by the simulcast signals and drops the signal. I have found that opening the squelch all the way (counterclockwise) can help a little bit with the issue.

Well that freakin' sucks. I want to back to my PRO-106 now.
