Just did a clone today from the PRO-106 to the WS1040 and the LED Color #2 is supposed to be bright yellow (as it was on the PRO-106) but on the WS1040 it’s a green color! I’ve checked the LED tuning to make sure everything was identical and it was; something is just funky with the LED.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or do I have a dud?

Isn't this the same radio as the Pro-106? Using Win500, you can change any of the colors to any shade in the rainbow. There are no limitations regarding hue.

In Win500, go to general settings, click on any of the colors, and you will find a color spectrum.
