USB cable

My 1095 Whistler wont download ... When I press the Menu and connect it to the computer it won't do anything. Am I missing something?? The scanner is off. Please help. Thanks.. If its the usb cable what kind of cable does it take??

Make sure the comport driver is installed under device manager, if so uninstall and reinstall,if using windows 8-10 use the unsigned driver procedure found on whistlers support page.

The usb cable is just a common USB-A to usb Mini, look for them on amazon.
