WS1040: Does the 1040 Work with Project 25 Phase II Trunked Systems?

It will work on talkgroups that are operating in phase 1 mode, but not on talkgroups that are operating in phase 2 TDMA mode. If all talkgroups are operating in phase 2 TDMA, it won't work at all.

I don't meant to sound odd but I want to go out on a limb here, but what if you swapped out the DSP and or Codec chip(s)?

And get Donn Starr to revise the firmware and DSP to work with the new parts? Not meaning to rain on your parade or anything but if it was that simple I'd think Whistler would have done it already.
