Summary box at bottom of Wiki input

What should be input in the "Summary:" box at the bottom of the Wiki input box? Do I need to put info in there?

It's not really required, but it's considered good practice if you are editing someone's article, to say something about what was changed. It doesn't have to be a book - a sentence will do. If it's new, and the subject is a little obscure, a very brief description is often helpful to a newcomer.
