Hmmm. So it's the number of "='s" ?

I didn't originate the page, and the ones I did had more than two sections so it automagically divided them :)

Nope, not the number, but the lack of in the original document.

The number of = changes subheadings.

Usually the Main Topic would be One =
with a subtopic of the first Main could have Two =

Just like using the ' (apostrophe)
more than once can change a word
ie: Three ' on each end of a word tends to BOLD the word

Hmmm. So it's the number of "='s" ?

I made some edits to keep the page more in keeping with our "style".

Two to four equal signs (=) before and after a line of text make that line a section heading and what follows that line of text a section. The number of equal signs on either side of a header have to match. The format of the header is determined by the default formats we have defined for our Wiki, so please don't alter them with additional formatting commands as that would deviate from our style.

Two equal signs is a section. Three equal signs is a subsection. Four equal signs is a sub-subsection.

If your article has four or more sections, you automatically get a Table of Contents.
