rebanding in other countries

I found this in our wiki just recently...

Foreign Trunked systems to be rebanded - The RadioReference Wiki

AFAIK, rebanding is strictly a US requirement - other countries are not mandated by their respective governments to follow these conventions. At least I've never heard of them....has anyone?

Toronto just went to 700MHz P2 system not sure what that article is refering to. AFAIK there is no 'rebanding' occouring in Canada. Anywhere in Canada.

As it turns out, I wrote the original article almost 10 years ago! Boy things have changed...I will have this article cleaned out and dropped, as it's really not correct..thanks Mike
