I recently swept the orphaned pages listing to see if there was data that needed to be rescued, and it appears there are several such articles.
Orphaned articles are those that don't link to anything within the wiki. Linking an article to the database does not resolve this issue, as the two apps are completely separate functions, and not 'aware' of each other. There are bridges between the two, but that isn't in question here. The user guide has a specific prohibition against deliberately creating orphans.
As the list is a bit long, I am attaching a text file to this message with the URLs of the pages in question. Please review this list and see what data can be dropped (or what data needs to be rescued). Remember, an orphan page should be totally empty of any data as well as any category links or calls.
If there's data to be rescued, please mention the page by name.
