Greetings....

Wasn't this going to be a 10-Channel system or has that changed?

I thought it was suppose to be, but I only see 7 frequencies in the database and the license linked to the system on website. What are the other 3 frequency pairs then?

154.82250 / 154.83750 / 154.97250 / 155.18250 / 155.24250 / 155.52750 / 155.85750

Yes, the Madison site is the UW Tower - a few sites seem to have developed a couple of names . . .

The chart is still somewhat accurate (VHF Trunked, Siren Control, paging, and of course the dispatch center are all still correct). The mutual aid subsystems are going to be changing (design not yet finalized) and we are no longer planning on using the Brigham site for any aspect of the DaneCom system.

Also, my previous post was wrong on testing locations & dates. We are currently testing at the Verona site for another hour or so and then will move to the UW/Madison site for 24hr transmission tests beginning around noon (7/9/13) - dodging a few bolts of lightning in the process judging by today's weather.

I see that DaneCom is going to use 155.5275. Same frequency as the city of kenosha pd. Might not be good when there is tropo.

Can someone in the area please verify the WACN for this system? It's currently missing from the database. Thanks.

There's a note that says they started testing on June 3rd, and there's a System ID noted as well as a test talkgroup. Have they taken the system offline after the testing phase?

I know they briefly tested it, but as of last Thursday I didn't hear anything when out and about through Madison. I will keep checking when I go out there, I head out that way every Thursday
