Milwaukee new streetcar

Does anyone know if this new street car system have it's own radio system or will it join OASIS?
I know this came up before in the very early stages. We know it will be operated by a private company but that is almost academic on which type of radio system it will use.

My guess is that they will be on Closed Sky unless they have their own internal network intercom type system. Since it is owned by the City that would make sense but hard to say.

I confirmed today, OPENSKY, City DPW TGs. The operator cab has a fixed mobile radio. Operator was using extensively, even communicating with parking enforcement to make sure vehicles stayed clear.

Can’t rule out a patch to OASIS perhaps at some point.
