Default Fed freqs.

Here is two freqs. that are good for this area. Both are P25 167.7875 and 167.6125. You will hear ENC
and in the clear traffic.

Unhappy Mobile

Any one know if Mobile has gone quiet? Heard Fire channel about 2100 and haven't heard anything else.

Most of what I've been hearing in the Mobile area is in P25. Though, it's not quite as busy as in the past with their use of Nextel.

You may (or may not) like to peruse my work in MS. Quite a bit of Mobile county info in there. I just this very evening got lucky and scored the input freq for 173.150.

Federal Agencies Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Take what you like or I'll get around to submitting some of it some day soon.

Presently its been mostly P25 ENC. I get most of my listing from what people here post & from various lists on the net such as Chris Parris Fedcom &n also milcom sites I put em all in my PSR 500 & Pro 197 & maybe within days or weeks I get hits . what works for me. also another freq to be aware of is 169.925 or .975 I've lost it now but I believe was FBI & most was P25 unencrpyted. I will look on some other lists & try & find it
** the frequency is 168.925
Am hearing a little enc on 168.925 now ( enc tho. I did have the NAC & believe it wa 167??.. will try & capture it again

Exclamation Fed Freqs

I have that in my database as an FBI frequency. The freq was updated 4/20/10 so it should be good. Don't know if it is State-Wide, or just for N Ala. or just JeffCo.

170.800 has been used by US Marshalls for long time. Also at one time was used by witness protection program. Also, check out 170.750 simplex. When I worked downtown, it was used by Federal Courthouse Security & Witness Protection also.
