I was scanning last night and it appears Mandalay Bay has gone to two new freq.s for security. Any one able to confirm?? 855.2875 854.7625

Mandalay Bay

The last time I checked they were using an LTR trunking system as shown in the 4th Edition of the Southern Nevada Radio Scanner Book on page 57. On such a system certain frequencies can handle certain talk goups on a system more often than other frequencies on the system. Those two you mentioned might be "home" frequencies for security talk groups.

It reads there:
Misc System Information
Security channel 2A is homed to 854.7625.
Security channel 3A is homed to 855.2875.
Security channel 4A is homed to 854.1375.

As was mentioned in the previous replies, Mandalay Bay uses an LTR trunked system. My webpage for Las Vegas has all the frequencies and home repeaters, as well as some IDs for security.
