Police: Fake Trouble Call Made From Stolen Radio

Someone is in trouble.....
It sounds like the two incidents could easily be related, can you say diversion?
There was a similiar incident a few months ago here. I was listening on a scanner when it happened, but someone got on the radio and yelled out "taco bell on thomas road need help". Everyone rushed over there, but nothing was going on. The people eating there hadn't seen or heard anything outside and the security cameras didnt show anything happening. Nobody recognized the voice either (not a very big pd).
