emporia public works

The db here shows nxdn but the emission codes don't match this. I see ltr and p25. I will submit but I want confirmation of this before I submit anything.

OK from what I can tell emporia PD and public works both run on 155.805

i barely get southampton traffic in chesapeake area Emporia outside 50 mile pick up for a scanner in Portsmouth. unless recievers antenna is on 30 foot pole or higher .

I know I'm in Capron in Southampton and I don't hear anything.

on a clear night i get 155.685 southmpton ems. 156.20250 sheriffs. fairley clear. using telescopic on bc 350a. Emporia.. maybe beinging dispatched, by Greensville. on ems 154.3400. anolog. and 151.0250 pd, 047Dpl... 39.8600 is their tac. or car to car. the 153.97250 system could be a back up for town Emporia antenna height is only 45 foot...most towns are allowing dispatch be done by the counties. 155.385 i think is a private amb service Lifestar. not their primary rescue. i would monitor Greenville !

I just went up there today and ran the PD channel listed in the db with nothing but I ran the PW channel with DSD and got a fairly good log I'll up it if I can get the file of the log

Both the Emporia PD and Public Works are 100% encrypted on high vhf.
