10-pin front connector, headset adapter

Hey all - I'm trying to make an adapter to connect a headset to the 10-pin front connector. I've found some information regarding this but not sure it's accurate. My question is surrounding the accessory detection interface pins (1&10).

See attached images - I believe I need to supply 3.3V to pin 1 and ground to pin 10. However, i'm not sure where to get this voltage source from. The pinout would indicate that pin 6 would give me 5V, but it does not. It seems to also be looking for the accessory config. The D+ source (pin 8) gives me 2.9V which i'm not sure is enough - I've tried this and it doesn't work, audio still only comes through the mobile unit speaker.

Has anyone wired a headset (with Mic, PTT, and headset speakers) to the front 10-pin connector?

After much experimentation which seems to contradict the accessory detection configuration, I managed to figure it out. I grounded both pin 1 and 10 to pin 5. This enabled the mono audio output through pin 3. For the speaker- I also used pin 5.

I have the exact same issue. I cannot get auto on Pin 3. I have the adapter working to key up the mic but I cannot seem to get it to pass audio it is receiving. I tried grounding Pin 1 and they didnt work. Right now I have 1-GND,2-PTT, 3-SPK,5-GND,7-Mic-HI,10-GND. I am scratching my head thinking maybe I have something wrong in programing
